La concepción de un tiempo circular está directamente relacionada con un miedo a lo finito, cuando el tiempo se transforma en un ciclo indica que no hay principio ni fin. Mientras que el tiempo lineal indica necesariamente un final, el final del tiempo significaría el fin de la existencia.

The conception of a circular time is directly related with a fear of the finite. When time is transformed in a circle it indicates that there is no beginning therefore no end. Reversely the lineal time indicates necessarily an end. The end of time, meaning the end of existence.
